Pumpkin Patch

So the kids and I went to the pumpkin patch today and had a blast, they loved picking out pumpkins (and of course dropping a few). And I had a blast getting the pictures!! I love this time of year and enjoy getting pictures of the kids!

Breighanna turns 3 !

Wow I can't believe it my baby is now three, where on earth did the time go. It seems like just yesterday that I brought her home from the hospital, and now she is little miss sassy pants. She is very excited to be three and tells everyone that she is a big girl now!! She feels that she is able to do everything that Brooke and Brayden do, which isn't always the case. She is a happy little girl, but very bossy and has quite the temper. She truly is a joy!



So Brooke got these cool shoes for school and Breighanna was very upset because she wanted some to, little did she know that Brooke had already picked some out for her birthday.



She sure does know what opening presents means, in fact she was getting mad at Brooke because she was trying to help her.



She received these cool little clothes from her Aunt Joelle who made them. She was very excited because now she has clothes for her new baby doll.



And of course thank you papa for the baby stroller, this thing goes everywhere and was a big hit!!

Washington DC Zoo

So our school was out two days last week so I decided to take the kids to the zoo. We had a great time we stayed for about five hours and saw everything the kids wanted. I was also very proud I made it home without getting lost and in afternoon traffic no less.



My kids are awesome, they keep me hopping and laughing constantly.

WE LOVE FISHING!!

Okay so we let the kids fish for the little bait fish and they each caught like three or four a piece, well they decided since daddy was just using them to catch bigger fish that they should be able to catch one that they could play with, and that is exactly what they did. They had an absolute blast those poor fish, they were still alive by the time we were ready to leave so we let them go.

Brayden is getting really good at casting his own line and he is very proud of himself. He is also baiting his own hook (thank goodness) and enjoys every minute of it.



This is the torture chamber that the fish were kept in until the kids started playing with them.



So we had only been there about five minutes and Brooke fell in and was soaking wet from the waist down, of course mom forgot to bring extra clothes because who knew she was going to do that hmm. Brayden of course thought it was very funny and was teasing her.

Fishing!!

Took the kids fishing today, they had a great time. Brayden was the only one that lasted more than fifteen minutes. He was a trooper and fished the whole time with Bill, the girls and I however took off on a walk and enjoyed ourselves with nature.

Calvert State Park

So we discovered this really cool beach that we hike to. It's a four mile hike round trip and at this beach you can find shark's teeth which is really cool. We have gone twice now and the kids really enjoy it. It is a beautiful hike and even Breighanna has done the whole thing without a stroller, she is one determined little girl. Brayden was lucky enough to find a small shark's teeth and he was soo excited, needless to say Brooke was not too pleased as she could not find one.

Brooke's 6th Birthday!!

Wow I can't believe how fast time flies, it seems like just year I was bringing this little bundle of joy home. Where did the time go? Well anyways she had a wonderful birthday and thankfully was very pleased with how it turned out. She is now in 1st grade and loving every minute of it. She is very excited she has homework now, wonder how long that is going to last!!

My Cruise with Nestina

What a great adventure this was, we had so much fun!! First cruise ever and I am totally hooked. We went to the Bahamas and swam with the Dolphins, what an experience I will never forget thank you Nestina!!


This was part of the swimming area where we interacted with the dolphins, it was at a resort call Atlantis.

Easter

So we had a very different Easter this year, we spent it on the beach. We were invited by some old friends to go to the beach house on base and they had a big party with lots of people to meet. The kids had an awesome egg hunt and then they were able to go down on the beach and play. It was awesome!! Sure did miss the family though.
